it was awesome to hear back from so many people after sending out a mass e-mail with Seth and my website and some wedding pics...I usually hate sending mass e-mails out, mostly because they seem really impersonal, and then they bring in a much larger volume of responses than I'm able to handle in a reasonable amount of time (not that I can even handle the volume that I normally receive)
One such response was from my cousin Adam, who is a Brit, but is currently teaching English in South Korea, and readying himself for marriage. It gave me a good laugh to hear from him again with his british brand of the Walker family wit (altho his dad's got a pretty good sense of humor on him too, if I recall correctly)
Hi Mrs Rosenw.... Mrs Rozenz.... Mrs Resonwz........ Hi Anne
Let's face it, Walker *was* easier. I've always wondered about this: How long does it take for a woman's new name to fit her once she gets married. After twenty-five years of being Anne Walker, I'm guessing "Mrs Rosenzweig" just doesn't snap your head up in a dentist's waiting room yet. How does it feel, wearing a new name? A new pair of shoes takes a couple of weeks to break in, but the pair you've been wearing for the past couple of years still feels better for a good few months. I'm just curious is all.
Actually, reading this again, I realise there is some room for offence in there - I hope you aren't sensitive about your name. I don't really know your husband - actually, there's no 'really' about it: I don't know your husband. From the pictures he seems like a pretty cool guy, but Seth is just too much like the name of a bad-guy from the action movies he loves so much - and he has a goatee too, which means he *must* be working on a plan to take over the world as we speak. I realise I'm slipping back into flippancy, which is par for the course as I didn't get enough sleep last night. Please understand no insult is intended. And if he does try to take over the world, don't worry, the many a goateed man is defeated by the modern female action movie heroine (gotta be careful how I spell that one) these days.
Actually, some of those pictures were amazing. The one where you are smiling at your father, and the one taken through a small gap in some doors are great. I'm guessing they were taken by a pro. If they weren't, you should talk to whoever took them and get him/her to become a pro.
...
You should come to my wedding. Bring whoever took those photos :)

Adam: I would so come to your wedding if I could, I'm very jealous of those who are able to make the trip...
