it's kinda cool when a song captures how you're feeling at a particular time. Every time you listen to it afterwards it just takes you back to that feeling. There's one song, and actually a whole CD that takes me back to PerĂº, it's a very happy thing.
The first part of this song has been sticking with me lately because it's the perfect example of where I am right now, and where I want to stay for a little while. I cringe to say that it's by David Crowder, but I did say somewhere in my rant that there was some songwriting of his that I appreciated....

I'm so bored with little gods
while standing on the edge of something large
while standing here, so close to You
we could be consumed
what a glorious day

I give up, I lay down
rest my face upon this ground
lift my eyes to Your sky
rid my heart of all I hide

so sweet this surrender

I had heard it in my car many many times before, but just recently, it clicked - I can really relate to that....cool.
