if you've ever had a question about God or spirituality and wanted to know the answer...try here; it's a blog set up by Evergreen for the upcoming series Jesus I Have a Question. There will be a chance to discuss said questions and some of them will even be chosen by the pastors to be discussed and maybe answered in the course of the series. I'm pretty excited about the whole idea of anybody who wants to being able to discuss these types of things.

we're leaving bright and early tomorrow to begin a week long trip to New Orleans. Or more specifically Slidell, LA; just outside of New Orleans. We'll be "mudding out" houses, or pretty much clearing out anything that can't be salvaged. Apparently we'll be working with a church who will simultaneously be hosting somewhere around 200 other people at the same time. All doing the same thing. And we won't come anywhere near being close to looking like we've accomplished or finished anything. Daunting? Yes. But a little irresistible too. I've been waiting for this chance ever since last August. It's hard to think that 7 months later things haven't been just about finished by now, but of course if you watch the news, you'll know full well that they've got quite a long way to go. I'm excited to be going with the group of people that we're going with, I'm excited for the unknown of who we'll meet and what stories we may hear, I'm excited because I'm utterly convinced that God has planned this out for us and he has some incredible things in store. I just pray that we'll keep our eyes open and not miss a single thing.
