seriously? America kicked Chris Daughtry off American Idol? He was my favorite, along with Katherine McPhee. I thought that he was definitely hanging on until the end.Not that I've been watching lately, so who knows, Taylor may have actually learned some moves and gotten smooth....or something. I did get to see the results show last night and that's the best I've seen him. But c'mon, better than Chris?!
This is worse than when Bucky hung around for something like 6wks too long.
Not that it matters anyway, whoever wins, I really don't plan on buying their music or following them once they're off the show. And now maybe Chris will have a chance to have a real career and not some American Idol-dictated one, tho I'm sure he'll have to tour with them for a little while.
Whatever, I so don't care....

I liked Chris, but I also like Elliott and Taylor. I don't like Katherine that much though.
Rachel and I talk about this a lot - my theory is that I don't want them to win unless I would buy their music. I like Chris, but I don't listen to that kind of music, so I didn't really want him to win. I would buy Taylor and Paris' music, so I wanted one of them to win. BUT, if they win or get second place they have nearly all creative freedom sucked away from them - so you're right to be happy for Chris in that respect.
And now I think I want Katherine to win.
After having said all that irrelevant nonsense, I also don't care.
I missed that and I am so bummed! he wasy by FAR the best singer there! Stupid,stupid Americans. ha - now I sound like a European ;)
I'm done watching for this season. Chris was my favorite guy from the beginning (Mandisa for the women).
Ridiculous, I tell you. Ridiculous.
p.s. Katherine needs to work on remembering the words to her songs and watching out for "wardrobe malfunctions" if she wants to win
