office building mysteries...

we have a conference/training room with computers that are available for use over the lunch hour. This provides a nice, quiet place to eat and post on blogs and such, where you will not be mistaken for available to take phone calls or goofing off on company time.

Quite often when sitting in here on my own, I hear music coming from somewhere. Sometimes it sounds like a rock band practicing, or like today, it's similar to someone playing their music a bit on the loud side. There's no way that it's anyone else in our little office suite, and to my knowledge the rest of the building is full of other legitimate companies, empty office space or University of Phoenix classrooms. Now perhaps U of Phoenix is offering some sort of Rock Music 101 where you can learn to play in a band and be a rock star, who knows? Or it could be that the rent here is cheaper than most music studios and someone is just taking advantage. Maybe I'll invite Christine over to investigate later today when we meet up for a treat...
