i know lately i've been crabby, either in sharing information or in postings, in general, whatever.
But not today!
And actually, so far it's been a fairly good week, and I'll tell you why:
Monday: I do love our MNF dates with Mr. and Mrs. T, it starts the week of right!
Tuesday: House Church. And I got together with my co-leader and apprentices beforehand to plan out group for this weekend, good times all around.
Wednesday: It snowed! Really snowed!! Surprising this early in the year, but as it's not all wet and slushy and not even really sticking to the ground, it's awesome! It's like a million little flakes that just swirl in the air and never really land.
When I got home, I turned on the heat in the house (59 degrees is a little cold, even for me) and ran to the library really quick to drop off a couple things that were due, then came back home to a toasty warm house. SO nice!
I had no idea of what I was going to make for dinner and ended up pulling out pork chops from the freezer, a new marinade and a little side-dish in a box that Seth had brought home from work. I started cooking those babies up and MAN! did my house smell good. It was perfect comfort food for a cold evening.
I also had a sense of wellbeing and accomplishment that I was able to plant the beginnings of my garden this weekend before it got too cold, so that means in the spring I should have some actual foliage in my backyard.
Today: It's a slow day at work. I haven't had a slow day in a really long time. I am loving it, just leisurely moving from one thing to the next, not rushed at all. It's a good day.
Tomorrow's the Rock, then Saturday we're having our nephew and neice stay with us overnight and going to a birthday party. I feel that this week's experience is a direct reflection on the month as a whole. I love October, it's the best month ever. (Take that, Ben!!)
