so we have this mail machine in our office, we meter and send out loads of letters each day. We all take a day of the week to do it, mine happens to be Thursday. This is also the last day of my work week until the end of the year, and I've worked hard at being able to get out of the office at 3:30 without leaving tons left for everyone to do for me on Friday (because I would be perfectly hated otherwise).
Thursday came, the afternoon passed quickly, I got everything done by somewhere aound 3:32. Still had to do the mail....shouldn't take that long, if luck is on my side.
It really wasn't.
I don't know what it is, but the last few times I've tried running the mail machine, it has hated my guts. Eaten my envelopes, jammed countless times, and caused me much grief and lateness. This particular attempt took the cake. It jammed I think 5 times in a row, I had to shut it down once, a letter got stuck where I couldn't actually find it for a good 4-5 minutes, and then it jammed another half dozen times or so.
When I finally got done, I had to stop by Tim and Angie's desks to finish up and leave, and they swore up and down that they've never had problems like that with the machine. I think I'm going to refuse metering the mail ever again. Take it to the first floor and drop it off on my way out? Piece of cake. Just don't let me near that evil machine again or I think I might actually take out my revenge...

Who's pittney bowes?
did that escape definition? It's the stupid company that makes the stupid mail meter machine that we use in our office. They (as a company) are dumb. Mostly on merit of my experience with their evil, stupid product.
