hope springs eternal, pt. 2

i've been awful at posting lately, so i'm trying to make up for it here...

Today is my favorite day of winter, sort of.

It does happen to be the Winter Solstice (can I stand eggs on their end today, does someone know?) but that's not the reason.

Starting tomorrow, the days will finally be longer. Only by a minute or two, but I don't care. By the time February rolls around I'll have a strong start to the sunrise on my way in to work, and that helps get past the evilly cold days that like to show up about that time too.

Now if it would only stop raining and give me a friggin' white Christmas!!

I'm all about rain stoppage. However, the snow part needs to hold off until I fly out and not be enough to delay my flight coming back.

It's the equinox that eggs stand on end, though technically you can do it any time (it's just the equinox Nazis tell you otherwise).
