Well, if your fridge is bare, I suggest you but some clothes on it, or at least some pictures attached with cute looking magnets. However, if the pictures are cute looking, maybe the magnets should be plain in order not to attract attention away from the pictures. Ah, the inside of your fridge...food would be my first suggestion, something eatable would be my second, something tasty would be my third, and something cheap yet tasty would be my fourth. Well, I like deer meat, and with the temps the way they are outside, I'm sure roadkill will last for hours...is your freezer section large in your fridge??
Macaroni & Cheese recipe (I "stole" it from my mom, I use it regularly):
2 lbs noodles (I like Rotini)-this makes the gigantic pot of M&C I use for large parties, you'll want to scale down for only 2 people
After cooking noodles, drain, rinse, put pan back on stove and add:
2 TBSP butter 8 oz pkg Cream Cheese 3 lb block Land O Lakes American Cheese
Any other cheese you want to add more flavor (my variation on her recipe-I add whatever shredded cheese I have leftover from something else)
Milk-enough to make the consistency you want, start with 8 oz
Salt & Pepper
Heat until cheese melts
I think the blend of cream cheese and american is easier to work with than cheddar, and the flavor is way better than the Velveta many people try to use for M&C

Mac n' Cheese
Kevin, I should have guessed that you'd go all fancy with the meal suggestions. You wanna buy me the ingredients??
p.s. I tried making homemade mac n' cheese last week, and it was almost a failure. I'm not sure if I'd attempt it again. Too much cheddar, I think
Real Mac n Cheese is tough. Most people play off a variation of a Mac n Cheese bake, which is a whole different animal.
