sterling advice

I saw something on tv yesterday which gave me ultimate confidence that I can indeed raise children when the time comes. Obviously, when my kids get rambunctious and out of control, I need to put them in my vehicle with the flip down DVD player and go somewhere because, as they put it, "when the kids get what they want, you'll get what you want."

Why didn't I think of that before? I was under the impression that I would have to discipline my children to teach them to behave correctly and obey their parents, I didn't know I could just lull them into a stupor and have them comply with anything and everything.

I thought that raising kids would be so hard! When I get pregnant, I'm going to register for nothing but diapers and DVD players, and I think I'll be set.

Oh, yeah, Ann - all the moms I know vote for "lull into a stupor" as the best child-rearing method.

I recommend taking a class on hypnotizing. Sure, it's expensive up front (with the gold pocket watch and all), but it will save money in the long run...DVDs will only get more expensive. And then you won't have to listen to the same 3 Barney songs all the time!
