As I appreciate the lovely fall weather outside, it ocurrs to me to try and think of why I like the fall so much. I love the coolness after the summer, I love the crispness in the air, but I really love the smells of fall, the falling leaves, the brisk wind, the smell of campfire and everything else that tells you that the end of the year is closing in, and everything around you is dying. I think my favorite fall smell is the actual leaves that are on the ground, decaying, especially right after the rain when they're most pungent.
That doesn't make me weird, does it?
