can anyone tell me what bratwurst smell like after they've been sitting in your car all day and it's close to 90 degrees outside?
Oh wait, I can!
I opened my car door yesterday to leave from work and was greeted by a smell not unlike rotten eggs. I immediately noticed the baggie of uncooked brats that we had brought home the day before from Jason & Joy's house. Man! It's a good thing I wasn't parked on the top of the ramp at work, full in the sun all day long. It was bad enough sitting on the ground floor in the shade. My next decision was where I could possibly put this so that I wouldn't forget it again!! On the passenger seat? I wasn't willing to risk seepage or just smelling up the seat in general. It wasn't guaranteed to stay if I just laid it on top of the plastic bag in which I had held my lunch items that day.....it took me a couple minutes to decideI could toss it back on the floor and just move my "lunch bag" down there, I'd be sure to see it when removing everything from the car at home. Thankfully I was able to leave my window down on the ride home, and the smell was quickly eradicated.
Once I was home I found an old Rainbow Foods plastic bag, wrapped up my delightful little present and dropped it right into the trash bin outside. Good thing it'll be hot again this week. Seth honey, you might want to be a little extra careful when putting the garbage out this weekend. Sorry about that...
