what's worse - wondering at all the people I know who were super stoked about Star Wars, or realizing that I'm a big geek because I can't get enough of Dr. Who right now?
I remember bits and pieces of Dr. Who from when I was a kid, and I liked it. Now the BBC has brought it back, and through good friends some of the newest episodes have made it into my husband's hands. Of course he watched them through in one straight evening, and for fun I thought I would see what it's all about.
I can't say that it's the best produced show ever, or that I'm crazy about all the actors or anything, but I'm hooked! Maybe it's that it's from the BBC, maybe because the new Doctor is funny and charming, maybe it's just to feed my sci-fi need, but I am definitely looking forward to getting new episodes, hopefully this weekend.
It's even gone as far as looking up as many cast members and as much information on the show and its history as I could fit into my lunch hour yesterday...that's maybe not a good sign....

it's pretty great, apparently there's a website somewhere that you can get them for a price - I'll try and find out, just for you. Or else try your local library, you never know!
(I guess it takes a nerd to know one!)
I - LOVE - DR. - WHO!! Oh my gosh! I would also love to get my hands on those. I didn't know that the BBC was running episodes either. I also loved the TRIPODS (I think that is what the show was called) Anyone?
Rachel (I'm guessing, Maren just doesn't seem the Dr. Who type, but you never know!)talk to Keith Stangeland or Craig Larson, they are those who have the episodes. We've got the first 7, so we can pass them off to you as long as it's ok with their owner (I think Craig)
